What I see

Is not who I am

Nor where I’ve been

I don’t recognize the shell

That bears my name

That wears my clothes

That lives my life

What do I do

How do I find my way back

To the place I once called home

I have to force them out

Those posers you know

Those who want my life

Who pretend each day and night

To be what I was

Who I am

They do what I do

And Say what I say

But don’t know what I know

 So the joke’s on them

No one could ever be me

And I surely won’t set them free
