When we slip into the night

We hope not to bring what was left behind in the day
Into this single night we bring our love

Our peace with the sweet melody of the song we hope to make

The sweet sound of what our happiness brings

There are no other two on this earth that can play this tune our way

This time tomorrow morn we’ll be saddened to have to part

Going off to work to start the day

To the world of business

No time to dream or sneak a thought that’s just of you

I can’t wait for what the night brings

The smell of the air

The feel of the breeze as you walk near me

The shining stars and the fullness of the moon

Just a small part of being with you
