In My Garden…I Can Be Free©

In my garden…I can be free

On my knees and in the grass

Beads of sweat dripping from my forehead

The smell of roses tickle the tip of my nose

Bees buzzing about the daisies

The smell of rain is on the horizon

The clouds race across the sky

I tilt my head back and close my eyes

I feel a slight breeze blow across my face

Suddenly the rain begins to bubble up

about my face

A bolt of lightening brightens up the place

I have to stop for now and rush inside

No need to bathe in the grey lit sky

In my garden…I can be free
