It goes without saying that I would give you my last breath, if there was a way to give it to you. My last dollar is yours, my bed is yours to sleep in, my house has your name on it. I’m happy to have you at my table, I’ll make time to hear every word you want to share with me. I will raise your children, I will tend to you when you’re unable to tend to yourself. All I ask for is your love and devotion in return. Will you pick me up when I fall? Will you wrap me in your arms and hold me close when I just can’t get warm? Will you dance the night away with me, when I’m lost and confused in need of direction? I will give you my heart, if you give me yours first.
