Holder of the deepest blue eyes I’ve ever seen
A smile so captivating all hail at your feet
A heart so warm all yearn for your attention
Your inner beauty pours out for all to see
There’s no request or deed you’d ever turn away
One only has to ask and they shall receive
The daughter all parents are proud to have
The wife that every man dreams of
The mother that every child prays for
I’d wait another lifetime just for a chance to be with you
Memories come and memories go
But mine remain here and are all about you
Please hold a special place for me wedged in your heart
And maybe one day you’ll need me the way I’ve always needed you
Together we could take on the world
As long as I have a small piece of your heart

The sky so gray and mystical
It holds fear and wonder for all
Sometimes we are caught in a trance
Mesmerized by the darkness
Wishing we knew what was in store
But really happy that we don’t
Buckling at the knees at gains on us
Prepared to be swallowed up by it all
Don’t make a mistake and get in its path
I’m certain we won’t be able to save you
We are ruled by the dark skies
